  • An excellent flowering plant available in over 300 varieties.
  • The sweetly fragrant flowers are used for making perfumes and hair oils.
  • It is referred to as immortal plants in ancient Indian history as they grow again after uprooting.

How to Care?

  • Keep your Nag Champa plants in a bright sunny spot to grow well.
  • Fix a watering schedule as they do not prefer being dry for longer. Keep the soil moist but not overwatered.
  • Permanently remove the dead and infected leaves of your Plumeria Pudica plants to avoid all kinds of fungal and bacterial infections.
  • It is recommended to choose a well-draining soil to allow the water and nutrients to dissolve quickly into the plant.
  • Do not re-pot the plant for at least two weeks after receiving to allow the plant to settle down easily to the new environment.
  • Choose a pot containing a drainage hole to allow easy flow of excess water outside the plant to prevent waterlogging.
  • Always re-pot your Nag Champa during the late evening, keep it in a shady place for at least 2-3 days, and then gradually move to a sunny spot.
  • Never shift the plant directly from a shady place to direct sunlight as the leaves and roots will burn.
  • Always use fertilizer in a balanced form mixed with water to prevent damaging the roots.
  • Always avoid fertilizing them in winters as the growth speed slows down in winter, making it difficult for them to uptake the nutrients.
  • Loosen the topsoil and avoid damaging the roots before applying fertilizer to Nag Champa plants.
  • Nag Champa plants do not need too much pruning. However, prune them whenever the structure de-shapes.
